Reservations for the Anchorage Downtown Marriott Hotel should be made inhouse directly through the Downtown Marriott - contact Priscilla Hodges at 907 792-2108. The online and 800 number reservation system will tell you there are no rooms but there are rooms for our Conference. To get the Conference rate you must register BEFORE July 7. The May 31st cutoff date for early registration is quickly approaching. The full registration fee is $275 for registrations paid for on or before May 31 and $350 for registrations June 1 or later. So, please, go to the registration page to register or submit those applications by mail soon. |

Changes to the Schedule: The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Foundation Banquet and the Conference Awards Banquet will be a combined function on Friday Evening, August 8. Saturday evening’s event will be Food and Fun Under the Midnight Sun and an opportunity to socialize with friends old and new. Formal attire is NOT required – Carhartts are okay. |

Tour tickets: If we receive payment for your Registration and Tours on or before July 15th, your tour tickets will be mailed directly to you. If we receive payment after that date, your tickets will be included in your Registration Packet on arrival at the Conference. |

Per the board of directors request, the formal Saturday Banquet has been changed to an Alaskan Social.
We will have a full meal and entertainment. The entertainment will not take the full time so there will be plenty of time to catch up with old friends or make new ones, or perhaps rest from your fun tours. The Florida contingent is bringing key lime pie ingredients and maybe mojitos fixings. Conference awards will be given out at the Friday evening Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Foundation Banquet. |

The Hilton Hotel has NO ROOMS on Wednesday evening, August 6 and has about 30 rooms left for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Downtown Marriott still has lots of rooms. It is only .49 mile (.78 km) from the Hilton – very short taxi ride. |

Marina Saettone, is going to rent a van for anyone wanting to go on the Rafting and Hiking tour. If you are interested in going on this tour please coordinate your transportation with Marina Saettone and register early. |
